What is DMAIC?

DMAIC is a 5-step, data-driven approach to improving, optimizing and stabilizing any form of business process. It is the core tool used to drive Six Sigma projects. However, DMAIC is not exclusive to Six Sigma and can be used equally well to drive improvements using Lean principles
